Notes

  1. These data and figures are presented for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY .

  2. COVID-19 case counts and rates are not specific to school districts or actual buildings. They are reported for the POPULATION RESIDING WITHIN A SCHOOL DISTRICT ATTENDANCE ZONE .

  3. All COVID-19 information presented is based on the LAST TWO WEEKS of data received from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).

  4. REPORTING LAGS from ODH may distort data trends. PLEASE INTERPRET WITH CAUTION .

  5. COVID-19 case counts and rates DO NOT INCLUDE THOSE RESIDING IN CONGREGATE CARE SETTINGS, LIKE NURSING HOMES .

  6. A COUNT is the actual number of people infected with COVID-19. A RATE is the number of people infected with COVID-19 for every 100,000 people in a defined population. For example, a COVID-19 case rate of 100 for Franklin County means that for every 100,000 people living in Franklin County, 100 are infected. Rates are useful for comparing different populations or geographies (for example, school districts of different sizes).

  7. Student absences, staff absences, and student nurse visits DATA ARE PRELIMINARY AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE .
